About:

Mad Science Shows are spectacular, fun, and educational! See fascinating science demonstrations, bubbling potions. and amazing chemical reactions. Volunteers can even float across the stage on our Mad Science Hovercraft! Mad Science Special events are 45 minutes – one hour long.

Fire and Ice Show - An All Time Favorite! Children will be dazzled and entertained as they interact with our Mad Scientist! This spectacular show will thrill audiences with impressive science experiments. The event includes foggy dry ice storms and demonstrates how giant beach balls can float in the air.
Volunteers from the audience can taste a special Mad Science “burp” potion. Students will be amazed by sizzling, shivering scissors, and special bubbly showers.
Scientific Objectives: Chemical reactions, air pressure, sublimation, and states of matter

Up,, Up,, and Away! - This spellbinding special event introduces children to the principles of air and pressure. Children are amazed as a soda bottle is crushed before their very eyes and understand how pressure affects the world around us. The Mad Scientist will make a mini hot air balloon rise and have a volunteer show the audience how a parachute works. A vortex generator will create giant smoke rings and the children will get to see an incredible exothermic reaction take place and will even get the chance to watch a hovercraft in action.
Scientific Objectives: Air pressure, vacuum, Bernoulli’s Principle, endo- and
exothermic reactions

Sounds Like Science - This exciting event includes many experiments demonstrating the amazing properties of sound. See an amazing chemical reaction and learn the science behind it. Children will learn about
corrugation and how sound moves in waves and travels through solids, liquids, and gases through an exciting experiment called swinging sound! Watch as the Mad Scientist creates an indoor storm right before their eyes!
Scientific Objectives: Air pressure, sound waves, corrugation, and resonance.

Spin, Pop, Boom! - The audience will be amazed when the Mad Scientist is able to defy gravity in this energetic and spectacular special event. Didgeridoo tubes, foaming hands and steaming chemical reactions will introduce children to a world of exciting chemistry.
Scientific Objectives: Forces, chemical reactions and sound waves
