About:

Does Spaghetti Bounce?  Liquids, Solids, Gasses

“You’ll feel great knowing you have a top-notch science assembly program that motivates kids to explore science on their own.”

Students learn about the states of matter through amazing demonstrations, audience participation and plenty of volunteers. Liquids change color and change back again,  liquids combine to form a rapidly growing blob of polystyrene and some amazing demonstrations of the gasses that surround us.

This is a fast-moving, exciting show that will have your students and teachers laughing for 45 minutes, while they learn about the scientific method and the world around them. Safety and the proper use of safety equipment is stressed throughout the program. Curriculum-based fun. This assembly is an ideal lead-in or culmination to your science fair, or just as a way to show students that learning can be fun.

State standards are met and exceeded as the children learn about chemical reactions, acids, bases and indicators, combustible and inert gasses and more.

Your teachers will want to keep the excitement and learning going in the
classroom. To help them out, a teachers guide is provided at no cost. It includes summaries of concepts introduced in the show, some fun activities and many resources the teachers can use.

The hands-on workshops allow students to solve a mystery using chemistry. Recommended Grade Levels:  Assembly program: K-8    Workshops: 4-8
